So sorry to hear this sad, sad news. Merle was one of the greatest country singers - so different from most of the young current country music singers of today - actually 100 % different then what you hear today. Nothing like Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Patsy Kline type of country artists performing now. All you see now is flashy, slick, glamorous looking and too "pop" sounding from most of the current young country singers these days.
Country music has changed so much from what it used to be.
