Thread Name: New Reg Hall Book: A Few Tunes of Good Music
Subject: RE: New Reg Hall Book
Dick,
I don't think that Ewan or Bob will figure in a book which largely concerns itself with a study in minute detail of the way that Irish traditional song and music manifested itself in London. In the years that I lived in London I was well aware that the folk scene and the Irish music pub scene were entirely separate though within the same city. Reg was a rarity in being involved in both.

I think it is amazing that an important new book is offered free on the internet at the same time as it is newly published - but I don't think that I would like to read 1000+ pages in the flip-page way that it is presented by Topic. Am I right in thinking that it is only available on-line? It will be hell of a task to print all those pages.
