I'm pushing more items from my dining room table into boxes and listing them on eBay. The boxes, open but ready to seal and ship once the items sell, are stacked for now on the bench in my sun room. I need to work on the dining table (completely clear it) then organize the sun room (make some sitting room on the bench).

I'm still using frozen foods in much of my cooking (not eating out as often, or picking up prepared meals) and the freezer is looking good. On my trips to Goodwill over the winter I shopped for food-storage containers (glass canisters with snug plastic lid liners, and high-end acrylic jars with silicone rings and hasp-like closures, etc.). My grains, beans, and pasta always go into the freezer for a while before being stored in the canisters, but the dry goods in those canisters compliment the frozen and canned veggies. (We find above average stuff at our Goodwill because it is next to a village with a high elderly demographic. A lot of the donations are from estates and after estate sales).

This looks like a weekend for garden work, and when I want to cool off indoors, spring cleaning will involve dusting, vacuuming, moving furniture, and identifying more eBay items.

My goal is to spend no money this weekend, beyond a couple of things I need to pick up at Home Depot that I have no substitutes for here. Birds have taken up residence in a hole in the stone front of my house, and as soon as those chicks fledge, that hole is going to be sealed, so I must be ready. Every couple of years I have to patch a few spots, and I'm going to work on the wall around one bed with the bulk of the bag's contents.
