It shows that the more people that get involved in something, the greater chance for it being blown out of proportion. I've seen the Carthy/Simon thing raised numerous times in various places on the internet, resulting in fans of either artist arguing against the other one. I'm very happy to see this situation conclude with both artists turning out to be "nice guys" and showing mutual respect.
