The Henry Reed Fund for Folk Artists has achieved endowed fund status at the Library of Congress!

It has now been approved by the Library of Congress Trust Fund Board and the Joint Committee on the Library (a Congressional committee), so it's an official trust fund of the Library now. This fund will support programs and activities directly involving and benefitting folk artists. As of January 2001, the contributions total $30,000.
