There is a possibility that I will be able to attend the Vancouver Folk Festival July 15 16 and 17. I have never been to Vancouver, and would greatly appreciate information from anyone who has either attended the festival in the past, or better yet lives in or knows Vancouver well. While it's easy to find possibilities for hotel accommodations online, it's always better to have somebody with knowledge of the various neighborhoods within Vancouver to help with queries, distance from hotels to festival, public transportation, etc. Also, if I am able to allow a few extra days to see the city, would appreciate suggestions on what else to see and do while we're there.
