Thread Name: BS: lotions potions and far out notions
Subject: BS: lotions potions and far out notions
This a test to see if the new policy allows science, pseudo science and speculative deep dives into the abyssal abysmal depths of BS where only the drain bamaged dare go, without religious intimidation condemnation and alienation. In short here are some brain snacks for Steve Shaw.

As with our perceived direction of time, lets begin with the last first. Far out notions may include conscious beings who have no bounds or perceptions of time moving in only a forward direction. A species in possession of near light speed travel could slice the cosmos so that the past elsewhere is coincident with the present of their own.

So far we know that relativity will not allow us to move at the speed of light. The particle spin rate of mass is half that of particles that move at the speed of light. So all we need to do is double our spin rate.

It seems reasonable to me of the half billion species in the universe capable of space travel some may have solved the problem by turning themselves into light.

In Earthly experiments with slow light we have seen how entanglement can turn matter into half light, half matter known as Prositons. We have taken particles and separated them into spin expressions and separate massless qualities. Like the Cheshire cat the grin of matter is separate from its mass.

But suppose you are a species in a big gettyup hurry and the speed of light is too slow. Then you might have the ability to translate your chemistry into a form of virtual particles that can traverse the second form of space which allows for all points of Cartesian space to be adjacent to one another, like entangled particles that have not chosen a spin for either electron, you suddenly choose and poof you are there, instantly.

Of course being organic may be too fragile for this process so you might be a machine intelligence made of light.

I don't know about you but I miss the good old days before the universe expanded so much, you know, when normal matter vehicles could surf stretched space.

As for you light machine beings, I have one thing to say, " were you raised in a barn? its polite to knock before entering.
