Never heard Dave play live, but remember his virtuoso playing with the Campbells in the early sixties.
Still have the vinyl LP of Dave, with Diz Disley and Martin Carthy.
"Rags, Reels and Airs" great stuff!

Sorry, but I didn't care too much for his time in Fairport he seemed to lose the dancers touch.
