a link for that article in Irish, please, Keberoxu
is it the An Tuairisc column in the Irish Times or is it an Irish language website not associated with that newspaper. That is funny about the translation of "Ceithre scór go leith". So many ways to count - "ceithre scór agus a deich" or "déich mbliana agus ceithre scór". You can also use fiche or fichead (twenty) instead of "scór". Did you know that daichead (40, dhá scór) comes from dá fhichead.
Keberoxu, have you seen the old Mudcat thread re "Seachrán Charn tSiail" yet? (relevance is that it is a song which Clannad recorded)
omg, I was searching for some Irish language info and I learned of another death, a singer I knew. Eamonn O Faogáin sang traditional songs in Irish and sang in Irish language choirs as well. He wasn't anywhere near ceithre scór go leith yet. http://www.meoneile.ie/ailt/eamonn-m%C3%B3r-%C3%B3-faog%C3%A1in-gael-uasal-ar-l%C3%A1r#.V22t0zWM65w
