Beaver:

Dear Mike built the frame for the deck - two days, 10 hours. I will put the decking on in the cool of the eve and am, little by little. I started painting the exterior of house pale yellow. That too will be done little by little when the sun is not on it. This eve I filled about a quarter of the second raised bed; that may take another few sessions as I have to do it bucket full at a time. Offered a Mike's partner Lynn a rhubarb plant: "You research the best time and do it!" In the meantime, she will be by to harvest some for now. We have two huge plants. I shall be happy to be rid of one.

Thursday I vacuumed without a mask and got the place clean but coughed the rest of Thursday and most of Friday, and still some today.

Finally a phone call from granddaughter telling me the girls received their package (sent from PA). T-shirts with artistic Wharton Esherick porcupines on them. They will have to grow into them! I did not have a clue how big they are or even how old (3 & 5). The family lives in a tiny house so I have been careful about sending anything but these shirts were so nifty!
