Mom! The most horrible thing has happened! You know how the banner ads on Mudcat are sometimes customized to one's geographical area? Well, for some reason the little bots or whatever that tell ad servers where I live seem to get stuck at transmission nodes in Houston (500 miles away) or New Orleans (200 miles away). I'm always seeing ads for businesses in those two cities. Well, one of the little fuckers finally managed to crawl all the way up the signal to Pensacola, a mere 40 miles away! I saw an ad for a Pensacola insurance agent right here on the Mudcat Cafe!

Mom! They almost know where I live! I must go clean guns, sharpen pungee sticks, and check the use by dates on all those jars of peanut butter!
