I find it fairly meaningless because I don't have the slightest clue what you're all talking about. People criticize Americans for thinking we're the center of the world. You do it too. It's quite possible it's a natural phenomenon and EVERYBODY does it, but don't NOT expect a "what are you on about?" from the rest of the world.
