you have missed my point. you do have a habit of missing the point. My point is that I have seen the demise of many music programmes in schools and universities over the past number of years. The justification for this , in many cases , was that it is elitist and this line of thinking came from rather surprising elements of the highly politicized world of academia. It is not groundless bias to to state an opinion based on personal experience. In no way did I denigrate volunteers or community youth groups, they are probable the best hope many young people will have of being exposed to. The world of music.
