I have also heard "buliding bridges" sung as a verse at my Quaker camp. These are allo the verses I remember singing. It goes as a round until everyone is singing 'I love you so much' at the end.
Hey ho nobody home No meat nor drink nor money have I none But still I will be merry Hey ho nobody home
Buliding bridges between our divisions I reach out to you and you reach out to me With all of our voices and all of our visions Friends we can make such a sweet harmony
Rose rose rose rose Will I ever see thy wed I will marry at thy will Rose rose rose rose
Ah poor bird Take your flight High above the sorrows Of this dark night
Dear friend dear friend Shall I tell you how I feel You have given me such treasures I love you so much.
