Actually, Jack, things over at PlanetSlade HAVE changed. For the past two or three years now, all the Murder Ballads essays there have had the additional option of a "read as single page" link. Even in the old format, I was only asking you to click through to the next page every 1,200 words or so, which doesn't seem all that onerous to me.
