Hi,
the last time i saw Peter was at Chippenham a few months before his death we had a good chat, he said to me "I dont think moving to ireland will be my salvation", thinking back, I should have realised he was depressed.
Peter was a passionate performer, I think the scene is poorer without him.
It is 25 years since I was booked at Chippenham, thankyou for reminding me of his anniversary, he was extraordinary and talented, but it seems the majority of UK organisers prefer more conventional middle of the road, safe, easy listening performers.
