He cut their bed in half after Annie had cut down a whole pile of his beloved trees. I think her desecration was worse than his. John was one with Nature, so seeing the trees 'murdered' like that would have sent him spiralling down so deeply.   But, hey,they made it up, became friends again. I don't think he ever really got over not being with Annie.

Some terribly unwell comments on here. I try not to get upset, because I realize there are some very mentally sick people on the internet, but geez, some of the comments here are beyond belief.
