Andy has also been busy recording. Today he is mastering his new CD, produced by Luke Plumb, once of Shooglenifty. This is due out at Christmas.

A Planxty collection Between The Jigs & The Reels - A Retrospective CD/DVD will be released tomorrow, October 28, 2016. Compiled and chosen by the band, it comes with a DVD featuring over two hours of previously unreleased performances from the RTÉ Archives.

And there should be new CDs from Mosaic and Ushers Island in 2017. Andy is also working on the first of his own retrospective CDs.
