I'd suggest the only recent UK news item with the potential to inspire the longest lasting song with a chance to be remembered
is the "Great Fire Of Exeter"...

..and I can't be arsed trying to write it...

..and if I could the only decent rhymes that come immediately to mind
are "Brexiter" and "Bed wetter"... 😜
