Subject: Lyr Add: AND THE BIG BAD WOLF WAS DEAD
My transcription from YouTube:

(I WENT HUNTING) AND THE BIG BAD WOLF WAS DEAD
Words and music by Val Burton & Will Jason ©1934.
As recorded by Joe Haymes and His Orchestra, 1934.

I went hunting one fine day and my bullets were made of lead.
It was bing-bang-bing and a boom-boom-boom and the big bad wolf was dead.
Oh, I took my gun and I went like this and I shot 'im right through the head.
It was bing-bang-bing and a boom-boom-boom and the big bad wolf was dead.
Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la! We won't worry anymore.
Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la! No more wolf at anyone's door.
Now we can go out and play and earn our daily bread,
'Cause I bing-bang-binged and I boom-boom-boomed and the big bad wolf was dead.

(I say there! Tally-ho, Frank Buck! What kind of game are you hunting today?)

Hunting tiger or the lion
Doesn't call for nerves of iron.
Fifteen's(?) quite a sissy sport to me.
To me it never did seem fair
To take advantage of a bear
Or chase a little fox up in a tree.

Once I heard the tally-ho
And then a-hunting I did go.
I wore my hunting lid.
And let me tell you, stranger,
That I saved the world from danger
When I hunted while I did.

We were drinking all night long and the drinks went to my head.
(It was "Drink hearty, pal, and here's to you" and the big bad wolf was dead)
Oh, I took my glass and I drained it dry and my pal took me right to bed.
(It was good old fate and ... and the big bad wolf was dead.)
Vo-de-o and ho-de-ho! We won't worry anymore.
Skiddum-skaddum, heighdy-hee! No more wolf at anyone's door.
Now I can go out and sing and cool my fevered head,
('Cause we sobered him up and we poured him down and the big bad wolf was dead.)

(I sure am glad the big bad wolf am dead now, and swing on!)
