It gave me an excuse to call Debby, which I should do more often anyhow. She lives just down the pike from me, but I don't see her very often since my wife retired and is no longer her chiropractor. She used to do little concerts here for my mother-in-law before she got her chiropractic treatments. My mother-in-law never remembered her name - she was "that nice young woman who plays the banjo." She says that every morning from 10-noon, she will be leading a completely-accessible medium-speed old-time jam in the screened room, where Debby is happy to arrange times for one-on-one work for later.
