Correct, which is why the idea that limiting man-made carbon pollution by a limited amount, which does NOT prevent warming, just slows the rate of increase a trivial amount, is a BAD IDEA.

The energy we have now will not be available in 50 years when we need to move whole populations because of climate change that we CANNOT STOP FROM OCCURRING.

We SHOULD be working NOW to adapt to new climates, and provide for a transition with less upheaval.NOT what the present crop of "Climate Change Preventers" are proposing at all.
