Well there is a lot of hot air on this thread. That's fer sure.
It is not a question of whether we should adapt to climate change, we will have to.
Food production will shift towards the poles, plants will be less efficient at producing sustenance as the population increases.
And on a notso minor point, have you noticed that desserts predominate at a certain latitude, the same one that the denuding Amazonian rainforest sits. The old saying that it is the lungs of the world are evident there alone. What happens as it disappears? (hint positive feedback).
I would say in addition to cowfarts, we should be adapting our own emissions. Now what does hydrogen sulfide do to the atmosphere?
History repeats itself, it has to, nobody is listening. Remember the Anasazi? Angkor Wat? Easter Island? No, they weren't different, they just got so arrogant and blind to profligacy plus they refused to factor in extreme years.
And they had their deniers, who made the decisions obviously.
