They never explained the implications of their statements - they painted a thumbnail sketch of the period - in that space, it would have ben impossible to do otherwise
Where, in what they wrote, did they deal with the period which started with Independence and finished up with the Troubles.
I have given some idea of what happened and why I believe it effected the Troubles - if that is accurate, you have to say why it had no effect
If it is inaccurate - challenge it.
Don't respond to this and you choose to ignore the causes of the religious differences - and you have no case
