It may be xmas today, but I still have to mow the lawn (I'll wait till afternoon, when everyone has departed for the movie theaters to see the latest blockbusters). Our holiday is deferred until later in the week.

I must admit that up and leaving the balmy shores of San Diego to race east to the fraught mess that is North Carolina does seem like a retrograde move. Register to vote as soon as possible - that might make all the difference!
