Today in Whitby, North Yorkshire hundreds of people (including my sons partner and her son) will partake in the Boxing Day Dip which entails running into the VERY COLD North Sea watched by thousands.

Organised by the Whitby Lions the event raises thousands of pounds for various charities and is a wonderful annual event. My good lady has done it three times, I've done it twice and it is VERY COLD !!!!
