I had the good fortune to work with Lone Chimney Films on the new documentary movie, Home on the Range. The film retells the fascinating story behind this iconic song and features some really great music.

The film premieres this week at a number of theaters in Kansas and Missouri. I expect it will be released to TV eventually, as well. The film company will post full detail about the release as details are confirmed - Lone Chimney Films.

I know a number of fellow Mudcatters have been interested in this great old western, American folk song - and its origins. I believe the film will interest folks outside of the American Midwest, too - so I'm passing word along.
