I was having my will redone. The papers were all drawn up and my lawyer called in two assistants to act as witnesses. One was confused at what he wanted. He said "Sign your name. You know Mary Brown at 999 x street..." She proceeded to write down "Mary brown etc." He read it and looked blankly at her -"What is this?" Mary Brown wasn't her name but that's what she had signed and put in the phony address. The will had to be re-written. I had to wonder how many other signatures she had forged. She couldn't have been that dense.
