Aah, a beach hut at the Naze...memories of beach cricket & my Father charging down the pristine beach in his woollen(!) bathing trunks to dive into the sea. I agree, we must meet this year.
Gnu, some folks on the east coast did get flooded out, but the storm surge turned out to be weaker than forecast. A bad start to the new year, but not the catastrophe of biblical proportions that was expected. As for the solar panels...words fail me!
