First Press Room Shanty Sing of the New Year! And it's the start of our 14th year, to boot. (First session was the second Saturday in January, 2003 -- we changed to third Saturday the following year.)

The January Shanty, Forebitter and Foc's'le Ballad Session will be this Saturday, January 21st, 2017, from 3:30 to 7:30 PM at The Press Room on Daniel Street in Portsmouth, NH.

We were foiled in December by the slippery weather (although Nick Noble and Jamie Bishop carried on valiantly with a slim parade of irregulars) so, I don't know about you, but I'm itchy to sing sea songs this Saturday!

Live music (and, especially, participatory live music) rules!
