Pretty unlikely that Otto Kelland, a life-long Newfoundlander, would set his nostalgic song about the life of a fisherman in Nova Scotia. However, he could have just pulled the name out of the air - but I would be very surprised if it's not an actual location in Nfld. Possible that the name of the place has changed .....
