I have more info on "Early early". There's a recording by Robert Cinnamond, "Early, Early, by the Break of Day" by Peter Kennedy and one online The Two Hearts by Geordie Robertson which begins:

The Two Hearts

Early, early by the break of day,
Doon by yon green field I chanced to stray
I spied a fair maid [continues]
