The Mariposa book's layout has a straight narrative of the festival with photographs and **lots**of sidebars with first-person oral history monologues, songs, and selections from performers' routines. So perhaps a collaboration of first-person pieces, third-person articles, etc. would better serve? If one person gets stuck with the job, they won't have time to make music.
