Just got back from Montreal 7.30 last night. I guess the flying bit doesn't bother me too much as I have spent all my working life (yes it is a long time) in the aircraft industry. The bit about traffic lights rekindled a piece of nostalgia about streetlights. When I was a lad we had a Gas powered streetlight just outside our house. No the man did not come around every night to light it, I am not that old. He did however come round once a week to wind up the clock that ran the timer. Hope to make it to Newmarket next Saturday.
