Friend of mine surprised me the other by saying that the phrase from the Leonard Cohen song Closing Time, "She's a hundred and she's wearing something tight", he remembered as a saying from his youth, which would have been the 1950s/60s in Toronto. I never heard it before I heard the song, so I'm just wondering if anyone here was familiar with it before the song emerged.
