I too was very pleased indeed with Bercow's decision,and he expressed it quite firmly and determinedly.

I also never had much time for him in the past (and his wife is a bit iffy in my opinion) but my goodness he's come up Trumps now! :)

It's said it's embarrassing for May not invite him to speak to the House, but imagine the embarrassment if half the Members refused to attend, or booed every time he opened his mouth. Better for him to keep away.
