Do you rely on medical equipment which requires electricity? If so, you should be worried. If not, merely be alert and cautious. This would include:

bringing outdoor furniture in from the yard
charge the cell phone and similar devices
make sure you have food and some drinking water
staying home during the storm
never drive into running water

if you have to go outside, watch for downed power lines

But probably the best thing to do is to pack up some clothes and travel to a place not in the path of the storm.
