A lady getting on in years went into hospital to be delivered of her eighth child.
The doctor said to her, "You really need to take your health and age into account Mrs Jones, you are getting far too old to have children".
She replied, "I know doctor, but it's all down to my poor hearing".
"How do you mean?", he asked.
"Well, when we go to bed at night my husband has the habit of saying, ""shall we go to sleep, or what?"" - I always reply, ""what?""
