Shaggis was/is one phenomenal tenor banjo player, right up there with Barney. I have a feeling he may have played with the Strawbs or maybe it was the Ian Campbell mob, before teaming up with Murphy. But that's stretching the memory well over 30 years, which is a tall order for me.
