Rap is experiencing the sad realization that a vigorous lifetime of lifting heavy library books takes a toll. No one seems to realize the physical endurance, the balance, the upper body strength and manual dexterity required to work in a business whose major activity is moving tons of paper every year. Librarians might as well be stevedores.
