Nellies in Beverley (The White Horse) didn't become a folk club until after Nelly and family had departed. I am reasonably sure it started in 1974 or 5. I used to sing there and occasionally at Driffield and Holme-upon-Spalding Moor until I left the area. I also have memories of some of the other places mentioned in other threads especially Halifax and Huddersfield.
