Tomorrow I start my invasion of Norway. Folks from there pillaged, looted, rapined, and burned the homes of some of my ancestors back a few years ago¹ and we want the junk back, with interest. Of course, we did the same thing to them a year or so later. Then they came back to us, and we did them, and pretty soon we were all drinking mead together and alternately paying for the drinks. But tomorrow I go to SLC to fly to Chicago to fly to Stockholm on Wednesday to fly to Oslo (O'Slo if you're Irish) to take the train to Bergen to take a ship up around to Kirkenes and then back to Bergen where we take a plane to Copenhagen to fly to Chicago from which Pat and I will take a plane to fly back to SLC and take a bus back home on April 4. Then two days later Pat has surgery. Gonna be a fun trip, just like last year's to Hawai'i. But my axe is sharpened and my sword is unbent and the teeth marks are out the edge of my shield (I'm actually a berserker) and I'm sort of ready to go.
