Thompson played in the Discovery Theater downtown, a smaller venue than the Sidney Lawrence Theater which he sold out a few years ago. This was a straight 2 hour acoustic set done with his Lowden cutaway.
He interacted well with a very friendly audience of Alaskans. When the lights came up I was somewhat surprised that there was a substantial younger component among the people.
He is a superb performer, full of confidence and showing great good humor but no self-doubt.
