Numbers are falling. The scale is down - about 10% less events in programme last year than the year before. I think only one event I was interested in sold out - in previous years several did.

I am not suggesting any massively expensive advertising campaign. The decline isn't that bad yet. But what can it hurt to let potential attenders see a previous programme? It would cost nothing to upload it to archive.org.

WFW is not legendary in Scotland. There are a few regular Scottish attenders, but most of the people I talk to, including people involved in the folk scene for decades, have no idea what it's about, and no way to find out. You could probably say the same about Wales. A few videos of morris dancing at the bandstand is all the publicly accessible information about the festival's content there is.
