Stop talking about good distilled spirits in front of Mom! She's perfectly content with cheap no-name gin from the ABC store. If you folks' loose talk about single malts and exotic cocktails should give her a hankering for more expensive fare, I'm not helping foot the bill. I'm okay with "Mom's gin bill" being a line item on my monthly budget, but I'll draw the line at "Mom's Laphroaig bill".
