Hey jacko,
A quick and almost fruitless Google search has come up with this:
Dramarama was a UK children's TV series and The Macrame Man was one of the stories/episodes which aired in 1988. Is it possible that the song is somehow related to that?
If at all possible, can you give us some more information please? Does your daughter have more info on where she heard the song, or can you give us some more of the lyrics, please?
