Its amazing!

Andy Warhol exhibition in the newly refurbished Dunoon Burgh Hall for three months under the ARTIST ROOMS scheme!
We have (I think) 34 specially selected items from the collection of Anthony d'Offay.

The picture that greets you as you enter is Robert Maplethorpe - an acknowledgement of the Maplethorpe photographic exhibition we hosted 5 years ago in a specially constructed gallery within the poor ruined old 1874 hall prior to the refurbishment.

A bonus is that BBC4 has had a couple of documentaries on recent Tuesdays 21.30-01.30 (I think) on the rise of Pop Art and one on Andy Warhol in particular- - a real help to understanding and remembering the era!
