River cruise????!!!! We went on a coach trip down to London (very nice, visited the Tower and saw Tower Bridge) then the next item on the agenda was a boat trip up the Thames to Westminster and back. Boarded the boat and, far from calm, the river seemed to have waves, the boat went up and down a bit and I was sick over the side. Again and again. All the way back to Tower Pier. And this in spite of the fact I'd taken a Stugeron tablet before embarking. It was absolutely hellish.

Many years ago I visited a prisoner in Parkhurst Prison on the Isle of Wight several times. Twenty minutes on the ferry. Sick as a parrot every time. Always arrived at the Prison gate with an oddly green face.
