The big flap a couple of weeks ago about Megyn Kelly doing the interview on NBC with Alex Jones is because he is such an apologist (there's that behavior again) for the NRA that any shooting on such a scale must be bogus. Kelly gave him time to air his views, essentially equal time to walk all over the conversation that rational people are trying to have regarding the preponderance of guns in the U.S., easily available to mentally ill individuals and criminals.
