I am astonished that anyone could start making excuses for such abuse.

Are the hundreds of children who reported abuse over decades all misguided Akenaton, all they all telling lie. Is it a conspriacy against the catholic church, are the 49 members of the clergy who perputated this abuse all innocent of all charges laid against them.
